Yes - 100% free, forever. No sign-up, no credit card, no hidden paywalls. We sustain the site through non-intrusive ads.
No account is needed to use any feature of RQG. Just visit the site, spin the wheel, and get your question. Simple.
The RQG team reviews the library for clarity, variety, and suitability. The spin wheel selects a category segment at random, then draws a random question from that category's collection.
The library currently contains 800 questions across 16 categories. We review and expand the collection regularly.
The 16 categories are Icebreaker, Deep Talk, Fun & Funny, Couples, Friends, Trivia, Kids & Family, Team Building, Would You Rather, Mixed Questions, Exam, General Knowledge, MCQ, Students, Teachers, Work.
Yes. Use the filter chips above the wheel to choose one category, or keep All Categories selected for the full collection.
Yes - every question has a unique shareable URL. The Share button opens your device's share sheet when available or copies the link for you.
Scroll to the Bulk Generate section on the homepage. Choose a category and a count of up to 50, then copy the results or download them as a .txt file.
The spin wheel is animated with a CSS cubic-bezier deceleration curve - it starts fast and slows down naturally, just like a real spinning wheel. The duration is slightly randomised each spin so it never feels identical.
Absolutely. RQG is fully responsive and works on all screen sizes. The spin wheel scales to fit mobile screens automatically.

Yes! We'd love that. Email your suggestions to hello@randomquestiongenerator.com with the category it belongs to. Community-submitted questions are on the Phase 3 roadmap.
We work hard to keep ads non-intrusive. Ads are never placed inside the spin wheel interaction zone or overlapping the question card. All ad containers are clearly labelled 'Advertisement'.
